Food
Food is universally identical and is produced by a Converter. A person who goes without food for a lengthy period of time starves to death.

ComTool
The ComTool can be used to send messages of up to 160 characters in length.

Birth
A player is born the first time they log in. Where a person is born depends on the birth requirements of the Planet concerned. The more new inhabitants a Planet wants to have, the greater the probability of being born there.

Movement
The surface of the planet is a matrix, within which movement is possible along the X and Y axes (or the four compass directions). (When we have a 3D client, this will all become much more exciting.)

Social contact
A person who has no contact with others over a prolonged period of time eventually dies of social isolation.
